so guess who defeated great odds this morning and managed to stay home from school? yes, none other than moi, and oddly the parents didnt even put up a decent fight.

fell asleep trying to read canterbury tales last night (blech) and was in a really weird position. the tissue box (which i carry everywhere religiously) was jabbed into my tummy, which did not appreciate it after all the abuse it has taken from all the coughing. and this neck of mine found its way into the pages of the reeve's tale and overall everything was quite uncomfortable. yes, disturbingly enough, sleep is becoming quite un-enjoyable, especially since breathing normally is an ordeal.

well mum came back from her trip from florida yesterday with a great winnie the pooh keychain and a cute mickey and minnie keychain with my name on it! (yay!) so she is slowly regaining her way back into my good graces after her mean comments about my report card (boo)

so today was pretty nice, woke up feeling gross, ate, took a nap and then woke up to this wonderful thing...the sunlight in my window. cheezily enough, it was just soo nice and made me all happy inside. it gave me the will to go downstairs and eat some spaghetti (which i couldnt quite taste due to the impaired olfactory senses) and read harry potter. yay harry potter!

hmmm dont quite remember if i fed the fish this morning, but i dont want to overfeed them cuz i did that once and grendel got too fat and he kept floating to the top...it was quite sad really...

someday i will figure out how to get images on this and you will see amazing pictures that will dazzle and enchant you! but until then, be patient as liz = confused when it comes to making a website....
